1.When did you open for business?
ANSWER: We officially opened our store in Jacksonville in October, 2010! Come see us for your vintage fashion needs!

2.Will you offer e-commerce?
ANSWER: We are working on the details around this feature. We hope to roll out a small selection of merchandise by the Spring of 2012.

3.Will you buy “my” used clothing if I bring them in?
ANSWER: Yes we will. However, we will only buy what we currently need, supply and demand. We will only look at and buy clothing on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday of each week. This is due to staffing and business.

4. How did you come up with the name, Vintage Recalled?
ANSWER: Well, it’s rather simple. We thought it was important to have a clear message in the name around the type of product we will be selling. This is where the word “Vintage” came into play. The word “Recalled” was more of what happens in the brain when you think of the word vintage. When you think vintage, what comes to mind? Well if you are like us, you “recall” all of the great clothing, toys, cars, furniture, etc. that you may have had through your life or that you have seen. Pretty simple, right?

6.What is the difference between “RETRO” and “VINTAGE”?
ANSWER: Vintage means that the item was truly made in any decade prior to the 90’s. Retro means that an item could have been made yesterday but has a “vintage” look to it. It is a replica of an item made in a prior decade. We carry both.

7.Where do you get all of your stuff?
ANSWER: While we know you are curious and we can appreciate that (because we would be also), where and how we get all of our “stuff” is not really important. We of course can not reveal our secrets. What is important is that we have it, it’s great product and it’s priced right! It’s all in one location for you so that you do not have to search for it on your own. So shop away and enjoy!

8.“Is this a consignment store?”
ANSWER: No. Consignment means to sell stuff for other people and take a commission when it sells. We do not do this. We do sell second hand apparel but not on consignment.
We do however carry a VERY SMALL assortment of jewelry on consignment.
9. Can I donate clothes to your store?
ANSWER: Yes, you can. However we will not be able to give you receipt as a charitable donation for tax purposes. We are not a charity or a Not For Profit organization. But we will gladly take the donations.
